Our Club located in the heart of Houston is seeking a full time swim team coach/aquatics director.

Our Club is a country club run program with 40-60 swimmers (age 5-14). Our swimmers' skills vary from beginner (ages 4) to 'A' time standards swimmers (11-12 year olds). We are in the 3rd year of our year round program. Our program has grown from 2 to 15 to 50 kids in the last three years. We practice in our 6 lane fully heated outdoor swimming pool.

There are two parts to this position.

One is the USA coaching position. We practice 5 times a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work with and supervise our temporary asstant coaches, love working with children (ages 5-14), and have strong communication skills with parents. The coach should also have a USA swimming background (Experence as a competitive swimmer and/or competitive coach) , with appropriate coaching skills and understand the importance of stroke mechanics.

Two is the aquatics director position. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with pool management. Our pool is open all year long, but the heavy season is during the summer. The candidate should have strong orginazation skills. The job includes organizing and communicating to our banquet/dinner staff about upcoming pool and birthday parties. Organizing and ordering 'stuff' for our summer swim team (which is approx 120 kids, and 2 months long). The ideal candidate should also be somewhat computer savvy

Candidate must be lifeguard certified.

Salary: Salary is based on previous experience and qualifications.
